As the embarkation point for our “Grand Tour”, our host hotel is the magnificent and newly remodeled Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove, California. With a little imagination on your part, and some work from the convention organizers, the Hyatt will be transformed into some of the world’s most exotic and interesting locales throughout the duration of the convention. Located in the upscale Orange County area of Southern California, the Hyatt is less than one mile from Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to the Disney parks. Close to the hotel are three shopping areas, the Gardenwalk, the Block at Orange, and Downtown Disney. Within a few miles of the hotel are Angels stadium and the Honda Center, home to a variety of concerts, events, etc.
The entire hotel completed a $25 million remodel in 2010, so all 654 rooms are modern and comfortable. After you’ve checked in, we highly recommend exploring the exciting world of Convention Room Sales! Information boards will provide you with all the information you need to shop all day long, and well into the night.

We have arranged with the hotel that EACH CONVENTIONEER who is a registered guest at the hotel may ship up to three boxes to the hotel with NO INCOMING CHARGE. To take maximum advantage of this great offer, it’s important that all individuals staying in any room be listed with the hotel.
Located in the atrium of the hotel lobby are the TusCA restaurant (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the OC Brewhouse, which features a bar food menu for late lunch and dinner. The hotel also houses a Starbucks Coffee shop, as well as a gift/sundry shop. Room Service is available 6 am to midnight. The hotel has a 24 hour Stay-Fit gym, two outdoor heated swimming pools and hot tubs, as well as tennis courts. The hotel does not charge a resort fee. Parking choices include an open lot next to the hotel, at a guaranteed rate of $15/day, or valet parking (currently set at $19/day, but subject to change). Both manners of parking allow for in-and-out privileges.
Within 1-2 blocks of the hotel are more than 20 restaurants, ranging from Outback Steak House, Red Robin, Oggies Pizza and Brewery, Joe’s Crab Shack, Buca di Beppo, Chubby’s Diner, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Caroline’s Italian Cuisine to Coco’s, Carl’s Jr., Taco Bell, Del Taco and Jack in the Box. An even wider variety of restaurants are close (less than a mile) at the Downtown Disney district. Directly across the street from the hotel are Target, a Walgreen’s Drug store, two liquor stores and a market.
