The hotel re-opened its doors in the fall of 2011 after a 275 million dollar redevelopment to become the city’s premier meeting and convention hotel now boasting 200,000 square feet of state-of-the-art event space and strikingly sophisticated guest rooms and amenities.
The premier setting of our hotel is adjacent to the New Orleans Superdome and New Orleans Arena, and blocks from the French Quarter, Morial Convention Center, and Mississippi Riverfront. We have arranged for a hotel convention rate of $149 for 1-4 occupancy standard king or queen/queen rooms.
Regency Club rooms are available at $189 and one bedroom suites are available starting at $199 and up. Taxes are additional and are currently 13% plus $3 per night. Shipping for the hotel is done through the Fed Ex office on premises. Packages up to 1 pound have no surcharge inbound or outbound. Inbound package acceptance fees are $5 for 1.1 to 20 pounds, $10 for 20.1 to 40 pounds, $15 for packages over 40 pounds. There is a delivery charge of $5 if you want your boxes delivered to your room. We have arranged with the hotel that each conventioneer who is a registered guest at the hotel may ship one box with a discounted outgoing charge of $5 in addition to the actual cost of shipping regardless of weight. To take advantage of this it’s important that all individuals staying in any room be listed with the hotel.

Parking At Hotel
There are many parking options for the New Orleans Grand Regency Hotel. Valet parking is available at a 15% discount for registered conventioneers. The current rate is $40 per night prior to our negotiated discount and is subject to change. Self-Parking is available at the Girod Street Garage at 1301 Girod Street currently at $27 per night. Please note that the Girod Street Garage is not affiliated with the hotel, but it does connect to the hotel on the second floor elevator landing. In addition there are many lots surrounding the hotel in 0.2 miles or less from the hotel. Options include but are not limited to:
