First Timer's Orientation -Tuesday, July 4th 11:30 am to 1 pm and

Wednesday, July 5th 1:00 to 2:30 pm

 

New to convention? You don't want to miss one of the two orientation sessions designed especially for our first-time attendees. Erma Rhodes and Brenda Working will share their convention tips and are happy to answer your questions. It's a great opportunity to learn more about convention so you can maximize your experience.

Exclusive Dolls - Tuesday, July 4th 3:00 to 4:00 pm

 

Did you know that other doll events including doll shows, exhibits and conventions throughout the world have created exclusive dolls just for their attendees too? Bethany Sefchick has researched these exclusives for many years. She will share her research and display some of the limited­ edition dolls she has been able to add to her collection.

Adventures in 3-D Printing - Thursday, July 6th 6:00 to 7:00 pm

 

Join Betty and Phillip Picket as they share their knowledge in printing accessories and 1:6 scale items for the Barbie® doll. This program will include demonstrations and will show many samples of items created.

 

The Care and Preservation of a Collection - Friday, July 7th 4:00 to 6:00pm

 

This program will feature several panel members including experts from museums, the insurance field,and doll dealers. They will share thoughts on preservation, storage, insuring, and making final arrangements for your collection. There will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions and you are also welcome to submit your questions in advance to shawstein@aol.com.

 

​Peeking into the Past - Saturday, July 8th, 10:00 to 11:00am

Bradley Justice will share some unknown history of the Barbie® doll. He will share never before seen archives from Art Directors, Accountants and Package designers from the 1960's. Attendees will be given a peek into some fun seldom seen history.
