The 2012 National Barbie® Doll Collectors Convention will be held in Garden Grove, California, at the Hyatt Regency Orange County, from July 11, 2012, through July 14, 2012.
For years, young people have embarked upon the “Grand Tour”, traveling the world, learning about themselves as well as new cultures and people. They experienced the sights, sounds and tastes of foreign lands, and they brought back exotic souvenirs from their travels as well as memories that lasted a lifetime. This year, the Barbie® doll will accompany over 800 conventioneers on just such an exclusive international adventure. Together, we’ll “visit” some of the world’s most fascinating cities. We’ll taste the best of their cuisine. We’ll share experiences with old and new friends that we meet along the way. We’ll shop -- of course! And yes, we’ll even bring home some treasures from our travels – that’s right...there will be gifts!
Registration includes: Bon Voyage Party, one luncheon, one breakfast, two dinners and all entertainment/activities; access to the raffle room, competition room, speakers series programs, live auction, fashion show, exhibits, souvenir shop and Rick’s Café; admittance to the salesroom; table gifts from the convention; the souvenir doll; option to participate in the fashion show, competition and the opportunity to be a table host.
