Getting to Convention
Arriving to Southern California and the host hotel is easy, and there are plenty of alternatives for you. Three major airports service the area. By far the two most convenient airports for travel to our hotel are John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA) and Long Beach Airport (LGB). These two airports are not only closer to the Hyatt, they are relatively small, so there is less congestion and less wait time for checked baggage. However, for many people, the most convenient travel arrangements will be flying into Los Angeles International (LAX). Below are details about each of the options. John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA):
Serviced by American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, United, USAir
Drive time to hotel, approximately 20 minutes; 13 miles.
Super Shuttle: $10 per person one way, can reserve at 800-BLUEVAN Disneyland Resort Express Bus: $15 per person one way
Taxi: approximately $40 one way Car Services can be arranged through the hotel concierge: Towncar: $50; SUV: $55; Van (which can hold 10 people plus baggage): $75. For each of these services, add $5 if you desire meet and greet service at airport.
Long Beach Airport (LGB):
Serviced by Jet Blue, American, USAir, Frontier, Delta
Drive time to hotel, approximately 30 minutes; 18 miles
Taxi: $50-60 but many of the taxis offer a $45 flat rate from airport to any Orange County hotel near Convention Center, regardless of the number of people or bags in the taxi. Make sure to confirm the flat rate before engaging the taxi.
Super Shuttle: $35 for the first person, plus $9 for each additional person one way, can reserve at 800-BLUEVAN
Car Services can be arranged through the hotel concierge: Towncar: $60; SUV: $70; Van (which can hold 10 people plus baggage): $75. For each of these services, add $5 if you desire meet and greet service at airport.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX):
Serviced by ALL major airlines
Drive time to hotel: approximately 50 minutes, but due to traffic and the distance, this could take quite a bit longer; 35 miles [also note that as a major airport, LAX often has long delays in baggage delivery]
Super Shuttle: $16 per person one way; does not take reservations at LAX; call them upon arrival at baggage claim areas
Disneyland Resort Express Bus: $22 per person one way
Taxi: approximately $120, but fares could vary wildly based on traffic and travel times
Car services can be arranged through the hotel concierge: Towncar: $100; SUV: $110; Van (which can hold 10 people plus baggage): $120. For each of these services, add $10 if you desire meet and greet service at the airport.
